More Than We Hoped! – 9 F1 Aussiedoodles born 2/5/25
February 5, 2025
Aussiedoodle Puppies in South West Ohio
We anticipated 7 puppies
What a delightful surprise! River’s labor began around midnight Wednesday, February 5th. Her first pup was born at 6:30 a.m and the last was born at 12:32 p.m. It was a long night, but worth the familiar fatigue and aches that come as a result of folding my body into a five-foot square whelping pen cradling River’s head as she heroically pushed through the pains of labor.
Imagine the joy and excitement when the litter of puppies arrived, and not just the anticipated 7, but a full 9! It’s like the universe decided to give an extra little sprinkle of magic on an unremarkable gray Wednesday in February. The stunning diversity within this unexpected-extras batch is the true serendipity — five gorgeous merles with their marbled coats, two striking phantom tricolors with bold black, tan, and white patterns, and two classic black-and-white beauties, each with their own unique markings.
As Standard Aussiedoodles, these puppies already embody the perfect mix of intelligence, loyalty, and boundless energy, but the variety in their coats — from the mesmerizing merle to the sharp contrast of black and white — makes them even more special. Each one must have its own personality already shining through, from the inquisitive merles to the dignified tricolors, with a playful spark in those black-and-white cuties.
Two Extra Puppies
The unexpected two extra puppies add a sense of whimsy and charm to the whole experience. The joy of anticipating a litter of 7, only to be blessed with 9, truly encapsulates the unpredictable beauty of life. The waxing moon, longer days, the promise of Spring, and a litter of nine show that life is full of delightful surprises that make everything even more perfect than we could have imagined!
