The Calm Before the Joy / Eight Colorful F1 Standard Aussiedoodle Pups
September 15, 2025
Since crafting this blog post, River has delivered eight colorful F1 Standard Aussiedoodle pups. Although a couple days earlier than expected, eight healthy robust pups were born shortly after midnight on September 10.
The house is quiet.
Almost too quiet.

An Unforgettable Season with New Families and Puppies Delivered
The joyful chaos of barks, squeals, and tiny paws has faded into memory — for now. Our Spring and Summer litters have all found their way into loving homes across the country, each puppy beginning a new chapter with a new family. The final delivery was a swift trip to Arizona, marking the close of an unforgettable season.
This past season brought with it a beautiful kind of madness: five litters, all born within weeks of each other. Days blurred into nights as we cared for newborns, moved pens, cleaned endlessly, and ensured our mama dogs were pampered and loved. Sleepless nights became the norm, filled with the soft sounds of puppies nursing, playing, and occasionally howling at the moon.
And yet — despite the exhaustion — we were proud. So deeply proud.
Proud of our mamas. Proud of the strong, healthy puppies they raised.
Proud of the work.
And grateful for the privilege.
We Made a Decision
This season also brought clarity. Going forward, we’ve made the decision to limit ourselves to no more than two litters at a time. This work is our passion — but it deserves our full attention, and so do the dogs who rely on us.
In July, River and Jett were bred. Emma and Ollie were to follow in August. But then, as often happens in the world of nature, plans shifted. Luna and Mack surprised us with an unexpected pairing. We hadn’t anticipated Luna’s heat until February — but as we now know, she experiences what’s called a silent heat, a cycle with no visible signs.
They were simply playing in the same pen, as they often do.
But a progesterone test told a different story: Luna had ovulated.
And once again, life found a way.
So here we are — in the quiet. But not for long
In just one week, River will welcome her next litter of f1 Standard Aussiedoodle pups. The calm will give way to the beautiful rhythm we know so well: early mornings, careful monitoring, warm baths, feedings, weigh-ins, and the steady hum of life. And, of course… endless cleaning.
River is glowing with life — a soft, round bundle of expectancy. She moves with effort now, but still chases a ball (just once, and then she’s done), still greets us with joy, and still leans into every kind word and gentle touch. She’s an exceptional mother — nurturing, intelligent, and full of heart. Her puppies are always colorful, affectionate, eager to learn, and a joy to raise.

Though we’ve only just caught our breath from a whirlwind summer, we are ready.
Because this work — this life — is not just about raising Golden Retriever, Golden Doodle, Bernedoodle, and Aussiedoodle puppies.
It’s about nurturing possibility.
It’s about love, connection, and new beginnings.
And those?
They never get old.
Stay tuned. The best is yet to come.
Upcoming litters: Luna and Mack- F1 Standard Aussiedoodles due around October 20th. We have several spots available on this pick list for these exceptional beauties (check out her previous litters and see why they are in such demand!)
