And So the Countdown Begins: Day 58 at Doodle Patch Farm!

The excitement is building here at Doodle Patch Farm in Southwest Ohio as we officially begin the countdown—Day 58 of Wren’s pregnancy! Today’s vet visit included a much-anticipated puppy count X-ray, one of my favorite milestones during any breeding journey. Since this is Wren’s first litter, it’s especially reassuring to know what lies ahead.
The vet spotted seven, possibly eight Goldendoodle puppies, and they’re expected to be rich red in color, with the potential for adorable white markings. If you have a soft spot for redheads, this litter promises to be absolutely stunning—intense color, beautiful coats, and heart-melting expressions.
Both parents, Wren and “baby daddy” Alfie, are known for their affectionate, eager-to-please temperaments and manageable energy levels, making these puppies wonderful candidates for families, couples, and even first-time dog owners. Their personalities are exactly what many families are looking for in a Mini to Medium Multigenerational Goldendoodle.
Wren’s guardian home has taken exceptional care of her, a true reflection of the love and dedication that goes into every puppy raised at Doodle Patch Farm. Their commitment ensures these puppies get the best possible start in life.
As we prepare to ring in the New Year, the excitement couldn’t be more fitting. If I happen to be awake after midnight, I won’t be watching the ball drop in Times Square—I’ll be welcoming our first Goldendoodle litter of 2026!
