Here at Doodle Patch Farm, we are often asked, “What do I need for my new puppy beyond a collar and a leash?” I love being asked this question because I love shopping for puppies! What I love even more are the pictures of Amazon hauls from puppy families. Kitchen tables with grinning Amazon boxes precariously stacked makes me chuckle! Not everything on the list is a necessity. A leash, collar, crate and food are really all that’s needed to start.
